Front panel marking plays a functional role, as it is affixed to any appliance requiring written indications to facilitate its use. All inks for electrical and household appliances are subject to stringent requirements.
Decors and markings applied by pad or screen printing must be resistant to water vapour and heat, among other things; they must therefore have good chemical and mechanical resistance.
